Can yoga help in reducing hair fall?
Yoga and meditation, in addition to providing a good diet and adequate hydration, help in reducing hair fall and promote healthy hair development. This is in addition to the advantages for general physical and mental wellness. Yoga promotes digestion, increases blood flow to the scalp, and lowers stress and anxiety levels.
Yoga Asanas alone cannot solve the problem of hair loss. Pranayama must also be practiced. Sarvangasana must be practiced initially to avoid hair loss, followed by Sirsasana once Sarvangasana is perfected. Spend five minutes in Shavasana after the asanas to relax. For the next two minutes, sit in the savasana position and concentrate only on your breathing. You must then perform anulom vilom pranayama. Three Nadis are present in human bodies, according to the Patanjali Yoga Sutra. Normal life is governed by two nadis, “ida” and “pingla,” and one secret Nadi, “Sushumna,” which serves as our life’s axis. Alternating between the two nadis during anulom vilom promotes blood purification and healthy blood flow.
