What are your favorite yoga poses (asana) and why?
My favorite yoga poses among all the asanas is Padmasana. This yoga pose is not only straightforward and simple to perform, but it also serves as a fantastic workout, is beneficial for your mind, and improves breathing. Additionally, it is said to strengthen your core and body while increasing your flexibility.
What is Padmasana?
During meditation, the lotus pose, also known as padmasana yoga, is used. A lot of physical ailments are alleviated and the mind is calmed by this cross-legged position. This yoga pose is named Padmasana because it is thought that when it is performed, the practitioner blossoms like a lotus. Asana in this context refers to a pose or posture, while Padma in Sanskrit means Lotus. The Vajra Position is the name given to the Lotus Pose in Buddhism.
Benefits of Padmasana:
Enhances digestion. This is due to the fact that Padmasana Yoga gives the abdominal region of the body a gentle massage, which improves digestion.
