      What is Ashtanga Yoga?

Ashta means Eight and Anga mean Limbs. The Eight Limbs of Yoga are called Ashtanga Yoga. It is the union of the eight limbs of yoga, into one complete holistic system. Ashtanga Yoga is based on the philosophy of Patanjali. It is considered one of the prominent forms of yoga in the western world. Ashtanga centers on a healthy physical exercise that comprises a sequence of postures connected with breath to create a continuous order. Ashtanga comes with all the benefits of regular yoga practice intensity, tolerance, stress control, and calmness. The series is so demanding you will get strong really fast. The Eight Limbs of Ashtanga Yoga are Yamas (Moral Codes), Niyama (Self-Discipline), Asana (Postures), Pranayama (Breathing), Pratyahara (Withdrawal), Dharana (Concentration), Dhyana (Meditation), and Samadhi (Absorption).
