How to improve eyesight by yoga?
People who practice eye yoga are often hoping to improve eyesight by yoga, treat symptoms of dry eye, and decrease eye strain. The eyes, despite being among the most important organs in the body, are often taken for granted. While eyesight issues were once thought to be associated with old age, it is not the case anymore. Nowadays, young people and even children have weak eyes.
There’s some proof that doing eye yoga might actually be able to help with your ability to focus your eyes and help relieve eye strain problems.
Practicing these yoga eye exercises given below regularly for a few months can help a person get healthy eyes. Also, Practising Tratak on a flame, the sun, the moon, or even on a black spot (Bindu Tratak) reduces the chances of blindness and weakened eyesight. It also helps in the prevention of eye diseases such as cataracts and glaucoma.
Note: Before starting these exercises to improve eyesight by yoga, it is always recommended to splash your eyes with cold water a few times. Remember to keep the head and spine straight throughout the exercises.
After completing all the above exercises, lie in shavasan (corpse pose) for a few minutes and relax completely. Breathe gently and normally, and do not resist any thoughts or sensations during the exercise.
