What is Sahaja Yoga?
Sahaja Yoga is a form of yoga that Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi created in 1970. It focuses on teaching Self-realization by enabling the kundalini energy awaken. An individual who has achieved self-realization is what Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi refers to as “moral, united, integrated, and balanced.” The idea that each learner becomes their own guru is one of the foundational principles of Sahaja Yoga.
The word is derived from the Sanskrit roots saha, which means “with,” and ja, which means “born.” According to the website for Sahaja Yoga, it is “spontaneous connection with the Self.”
What is Sahaja Samadhi?
