Who founded yoga?

He is attributed to be the author of the first text on yoga, The Yoga Sutras. Patanjali Yoga Sutra is the historic and first guide on yoga. It is concluded to have been composed more than 2000 years ago. Swami Vivekananda, the great Indian philosopher, brought out his work “Raja Yoga” in 1896. It was found in “The Yoga Sutras” of Patanjali.
