    How yoga came into existence?

How yoga came? Yoga came into existence in northern India over 5,000 years ago. The Rig Veda, a collection of ancient religious books, is where the word “yoga” first appears. Four ancient religious books known as the Vedas were originally authored in Sanskrit.
It’s believed that yoga has been performed from the very beginning of human civilization. Even before the first religions or cultural beliefs were established, the science of yoga was developed. Shiva is considered the first yogi, or Adiyogi, as well as the first Guru, or Adi Guru, in yogic literature.

    Ancient Roots of Yoga:

Yoga is an age-old technique that focuses on breathing, flexibility, and strength to improve mental and physical health. It consists of a collection of physical, mental, and spiritual disciplines or exercises.
Yoga’s main components are breathing and poses (a series of movements designed to increase strength and flexibility.)
According to legend, the tradition first appeared in India thousands of years ago and has since undergone many forms of adaptation in other nations. Here, we look at the history of yoga, its unique qualities, and how it has spread throughout the world.

    Main Aim of Yoga:

Ultimately, the goal of yoga is to achieve Self-realization and to end all forms of pain in order to achieve “the state of liberation” (Moksha), also known as “freedom” (Kaivalya). The main goals of practicing yoga asanas should be health and peace, as well as living freely in all aspects of life.

What are the must-read books for yoga lovers?

Books For Yoga Lovers – You may question at some point throughout your yoga practice how a certain Sanskrit term relates to everyday life or how doing asanas physically relates to yoga’s transforming abilities. Fortunately, yoga literature has been written for thousands of years, so no matter what question you have, it has probably already been covered someplace.

Since there are literally hundreds of books to choose from, we decided to focus only on works that were released within the last ten years. We did this because we believed that this restriction might help us in our quest to discover how the age-old practice of yoga poses or yoga asanas is currently relevant to our lives. Not because we don’t utilize and love asana manuals and reference materials, but rather because we wanted digestible works that may help you learn more than one aspect of the practice. Other books we enjoy are included below, however, neither it nor the list that follows is comprehensive of all the best yoga books for yoga lovers we adore.

Here is the list of “best yoga books for yoga lovers beginners” given below:

    • The Wisdom Of Yoga written by Stephen Cope (A Seeker’s Guide to Extraordinary Living).
    • The Secret Power of Yoga written by Nischala Joy Devi (A Woman’s Guide to the Heart and Spirit of the Yoga Sutras).
    • Bhagavad Gita was written by Stephen Mitchell (A New Translation)
    • Yoga was written by David Frawley (The Greater Tradition)
    • Light On Life written by B.K.S Iyengar (The Yoga Journey to Wholeness, Inner Peace, and Ultimate Freedom)
    • Living Your Yoga written by Judith Hanson Lasater (Finding the Spiritual in Everyday Life)
    • Yoga for Transformation written by Gary Kraftsow (Ancient Teachings and Practices for Healing the Body, Mind, Heart)

What are your favorite yoga poses (asana) and why?

My favorite yoga poses among all the asanas is Padmasana. This yoga pose is not only straightforward and simple to perform, but it also serves as a fantastic workout, is beneficial for your mind, and improves breathing. Additionally, it is said to strengthen your core and body while increasing your flexibility.

    What is Padmasana?

During meditation, the lotus pose, also known as padmasana yoga, is used. A lot of physical ailments are alleviated and the mind is calmed by this cross-legged position. This yoga pose is named Padmasana because it is thought that when it is performed, the practitioner blossoms like a lotus. Asana in this context refers to a pose or posture, while Padma in Sanskrit means Lotus. The Vajra Position is the name given to the Lotus Pose in Buddhism.

    Benefits of Padmasana:

Enhances digestion. This is due to the fact that Padmasana Yoga gives the abdominal region of the body a gentle massage, which improves digestion.

    • Reduces stress and aids in mental relaxation.
    • Eases labor and delivery.
    • Reduces cramps and agony or pain during the menstrual cycle.
    • Increases awareness and attentiveness.
    • Stretches the ankles and knees.
    • Stimulates the bladder, abdomen, pelvis, and spine.

Which is better Sudharsan Kriya or Isha Kriya?

If Sudarshan Kriya is an AOL trademark, Inner Engineering is an Isha Kriya trademark, and there aren’t many changes between the two.

Isha kriya, on the other hand, differs significantly from Inner Engineering in that it places more of an emphasis on transcending body-mind sensations than it does on energies.

As a result, they don’t contradict one another. You can safely practice both, but unless you ask both AOL and Isha volunteers and get their approval—which I’m very sure they wouldn’t give since it would mess with your energy system—Don’t Combine Isha Kriya with Sudarshan Kriya.

You can proceed to the Isha Kriya after safely completing the Sudarshan Kriya (as it is more closely tied to annamaya and pranamaya kosha) ( which is more into manomaya and vijnanamaya kosha). To be on the safe side, attempt to perform one in the morning and another in the evening.

Are there yoga exercises for your face?

Face yoga has gained popularity as a form of self-care and as a possible substitution for costly and invasive facial cosmetic procedures. According to theory, they function by concentrating on your facial muscles, skin, and lymphatics. But are these exercises effective? The science is conflicting; although some believe face yoga is a natural technique to help your face look younger and slimmer, others believe the evidence is insufficient. Studies have revealed that face workouts may be beneficial for other illnesses also such as Bell’s palsy, TMJ issues, and hemifacial spasm.

How to do yoga exercises for your face:

There are numerous face yoga poses, all of which promise to benefit certain facial features. Here are a few illustrations of face yoga exercises that could possibly help in your quest for a leaner, more youthful appearance. Since it could feel awkward to practice them in front of a mirror in public, it’s usually preferable to do so privately at home. Maintain relaxation in the rest of your face, neck, and shoulders as you carry out the movements. Keep an eye on your reflection to avoid pressing or massaging your skin so hard that it begins to fold in on itself.

These are the 5 best yoga exercises for your face to try at home:

    • The Cheek Lifter
    • Happy Cheeks Sculpting
    • The Eyebrow Lifter
    • Jaw and Neck Firmer
    • Temple Developer

    Does yoga help with anxiety?

Numerous research has indicated that yoga help with anxiety. Your mood and general sense of well-being may be improved by yoga. Yoga may also assist you in controlling depression and anxiety symptoms brought on by trying circumstances.

Everyone has experienced anxiety at some point. Anxiety is a normal reaction to stressful events, and it can help us react effectively when we are in danger. It can range from slight nerves to outright panic. However, for persons who have an anxiety condition, these emotions are a disruptive and overwhelming force rather than a rational reaction to the outside world.

Regular yoga practice can provide you the strength to handle life’s challenges without becoming agitated while also assisting you in being peaceful and relaxed. • Dhanurasana or Bow Pose
    • Shavasana or Corpse Pose
