Can we sleep after morning yoga?
Many people asks this question that can I sleep after morning yoga. The answer is Yes, you can sleep after doing yoga or take a short and relaxing nap for about 15 to 30 minutes after your yoga practice. Sleeping after yoga will freshen you up and remove any tiredness you might be feeling, and increase your energy levels during the day.
There’s nothing wrong with getting some sleep after doing yoga asanas. Sometimes your body needs to rest. Some yoga sessions are longer than others, so you might end up needing more sleep. Certain kinds of Yoga poses can make you feel more sleepy than others. It doesn’t matter if you do your Yoga in the morning or at night. You can sleep right after if you want to. There aren’t any studies or findings that say that this is a bad thing. Sleeping after Yoga is actually a good thing. If you do Yoga at night, then it’s very likely that you will feel sleepy and want to go to bed.
Generally, yoga energizes the body and provides relaxation of the mind and body. However, if you are an experienced yoga practitioner or regularly practice yoga, you may not need rest or a nap. Also, if you are a beginner, you may need to stretch before your yoga sessions. If you regularly practice yoga asanas, you will not have energy drain because of unnecessary physical, emotional and mental activities. Therefore you will have more energy and need less sleep.
