Which International day of Yoga event created a Guinness World Record?
The International day of yoga event created a Guinness World Record on 21 June 2018. It was created in Kota, Rajasthan. Over one lakh people together performed yogic exercises. The event took place in the presence of yoga guru Baba Ramdev and chief minister Vasundhara Raje Scindia at RAC ground on 21 June 2018. A total of 1 lakh people conducted Yoga together at RAC ground in Kota. After the yoga session, the officials handed over the Guinness world records certificate which read, “The largest yoga lesson was achieved by the government of Rajasthan, Patanjali Yogpeeth and District Administration at Kota (all India), at Kota Rajasthan, India on 21 June 2018.”
